Yahoo Back, Neck and Body Braces Group

I noticed some time ago that some people rather than finding their way around Blogs and where to make entries in the Blog prefer Yahoo Groups. Because of this I have created a Yahoo Group called - you guessed it - Back, Neck and Body Braces. The Yahoo Group (which is Moderated) is described as follows:

A Group for those who want information about or have needed to and or continue to need to wear back, neck, back neck body braces or other orthopedic devices. Please enjoy the Group and leave messages and or posts to make this Group a Community.

Again this is a Moderated Group. All are welcome.

The Group Can be located by clicking this link -

Fashion Covers for Neck Collars and Casts

There is a feature on this Blog called "Pin You Location or Country on the Interactive Map Below" or "Visit my Guest Map." Someone from Switzerland by the name of Caroline left the following message but did not leave any contact information. Her message and question is a very good one. It is as follows:

"I'm 28 and suffer from chronic neck pain which at times requires use of neck brace-hate being seen in public wearing collar and generally try to disguise collar with scarves, high neck clothing etc although obviously this is easier to do in winter than summer. Would love to hear from other neck brace wearers, especially any tips on dressing around your collar!!!"

So I went looking around the web and this is the answer we found for you Caroline. Here is the link of CAMELEONE for Neck Braces http://www.cameleone.co.uk

This neck brace cover seems to be a very viable option for soft collar wearers like Caroline. It seems that the CAMELEONE for Neck Braces would also protect the collar it self as well as making the wearing of the collar more comfortable. CAMELEONE also has stylish products for those that need to wear a cast as well. There is a picture of the CAMELEONE for Neck Braces above and a video of some of CAMELEONE's products to the left.

Neck & Body Brace Fashion - The Future of Body Braces?

The future of neck and body braces? Fashion - Your Thoughts Please?

We're all big time cell phone addicts and even an accident that culminates into a terrible neck twist or back injury does not allow us to refrain from the gadget. Designer Francesca Lanzavecchia who obtained her Masters degree at the Design Academy of Eindhoven by doing her thesis project on "ProAsthetics Supports", has come up with this wonderful invention that lets you chat away to glory without having to hold your phone or twisting your neck. A new twist on the body brace and neck brace make neck back and body braces more visible, viable and trendy. The question is would you prefer a traditional neck brace with a phone in the hand and a traditional body brace and cloths with pockets. These braces certainly make a statement (will they call attention to you? - YES!!! All you have to do is wait for this design to turn into reality. Nevertheless, I wouldn't feel awkward to go outside my home; rather I'd love to flaunt these cool braces! Remember the theme of this blog. If you have to wear a neck, back or neck back body brace don't be ashamed, go out and enjoy and have fun with it. You might as well, your most like going to have it for a while. Can't you just see the look on the doctor's or orthodist face when you walk and ask if I am going to need a neck, back or neck back body brace can I have one of these. Can you imaging waling down the mall? Comments welcome
